Old Orchard Beach Fire – Rescue

The Fire Department consists of nine full-time fire fighters, who are members of the Local 2247 I.A.F.F.  We work a 56 hour week and each shift is made up of 4 Fire/Rescue personnel, which consists of three full-time fire fighters, one being a paramedic and a part-time EMT who works a 12 or 24 hour shift. We are supplemented, in fire fighting, by a force of more than 30 on-call fire fighters.
